Useful information
Article 1: Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L 221-5 of the Consumer Code, the Customer does not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L 221-28 of the Consumer Code, given the nature of the services provided.
The contract is therefore definitively concluded as soon as the reservation is made by the Customer in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale.
Article 2: Consumer information on the possibility of objecting to telephone canvassing
Under the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, anyone may object to the use or transfer of their personal data. This allows consumers to object to various forms of commercial canvassing by professionals using their data.
Article L. 223-2 of the French Consumer Code requires any professional who collects a consumer’s telephone details to inform the consumer of his or her right to register on the ‘opposition to telephone canvassing’ list. This obligation came into force on 1 June 2016.
Consumers may register free of charge on this list, which is available at www.bloctel.gouv.fr.
In addition to the obligation to provide information, the hotel will be prohibited from canvassing consumers on this list, unless they are already customers.
It is therefore the responsibility of the professional wishing to carry out a canvassing campaign to check via their registration on the bloctel.gouv.fr website that their customers are not on this list.
Article 3: Mediation and complaints
After having referred the matter to the customer service department or the hotel in an attempt to resolve the dispute amicably, and in the event of a negative response or no response within 60 days of the referral, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to a Mediator.
The performance and termination of contractual obligations between the parties are subject to Tourism and Travel mediation, the terms and conditions of which are available on the website: https://www.mtv.travel

The Customer may also consult the European Commission’s website dedicated to consumer mediation: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home.show&lng=EN
